I am a mom and a wife. A mom of who you ask, well to start, of 2 humans first of all and they are interesting, as they are in early adulthood is another change to our dynamic.
Secondly I am a mom to 6, 4 legged babies, too. Yep I said 6 (six) and we love each and every one!! And they are interesting too, with all sorts of personalities all around. 1 lizard 🦎, 2 cats 🐈⬛ 🐈and 3 ferrets🦝.

Progress and growth
I am making progress finally on a shawl. Another lady and I met, in the hopes that others would have come to our meet up. I am trying to get a knit/crochet group going….its kinda slow, but I am in hopes we will get it up and running with a few more in it. 😁
Today’s pondering 🤔
So, after hubby and the kids leave, I busied myself cleaning some. We needed to rid boxes in the living room and move some things out of the way for the carpets to be steam cleaned. The place we are renting requires us to have it done every 6 months prior to our 6 months inspection….granted we only moved in August, technically (the hubby did, kids and I came in September). Then I worked a few hours, ran to the pharmacy and back and did final preparations for the cleaners.
So I’m watching one of my favorite shows, Law and Order, and on that channel it keep advertising these reality shows. The definition of reality tv is: type of television programming that aims to show how ordinary people behave in everyday life, or in situations, often created by the program makers, which are intended to represent everyday life. In my opinion that is a bunch of horse pucky! (To put it nicely).
These people are on there they are not acting normal, they are going to extremes!
And then of course you have the celebrity reality shows, like they need money and fame??
Then the shows are going to extremes! I mean really are there seriously people out there looking for people that are in jail to date/marry when they get out?? Or do they pay these people??
Ok, so that is my ponderance for today.
Banana Bread Recipe

**I did omit cinnamon, I don’t ever add it to my banana bread and I couldn’t find it in my spices. **
My kids are fiends about banana bread to, can’t keep their paws off it! One loaf already is gone…2nd will be gone for breakfast! 😁

The house smells amazing even with it so hot in the house 🏡 since the ac went out last night so now I’m dealing with renters hell….🙄. The office is full of unpleasant women. I know they deal with some or over half of the crappiest of society I get it, but don’t answer the phone with that attitude towards everyone! Rant…over….
Anyway, yet again I changed my mind on what I crochet. So far so good on this shawlette , I’m liking this a whole lot better.

Some progress…
Apparently my ADD is really having a go on me…hoping once my meds are back in full that I will more productive.
I have been working with this beautiful soft yarn and now have picked this pattern for a cowl.

Not productive
Do you ever have those days? I did yesterday…. Hubby and I decided to watch movies and craft all day.
(Pictures here are fingerless gloves I made a few years ago with bamboo yarn.)
I wanted to crochet some fingerless gloves. Well my hands were not cooperating, they go numb then hurt. I think I went through 8 patterns, either coming to points I didn’t like, didn’t understand, etc. and I ended up ripping the yarn, with my hands hurting and aggravated. Needless to say I crocheted all day, but was not productive at all. 🙄
I finished this, today
So, I am ADD and when it comes to sticking to the same project until it is complete…that is hard for me unless I am bound and determined to get it finished by a certain date and/or for someone, etc. But if it is a small project I can usually keep on it.
This is the 1st of many, I will be making more bottle covers in different colors and patterns.
Aww man, Really?!?!
Wow, sometimes my life sucks!! Ok, so my cat (yes I said my cat), Sam….AKA fat cat, Gordo Gato…. has a habit of lying on my flip flops and even drooling on them while there. Even a few times has thrown up on my flip flops.
But OMG!! Not saying it was him, it could have been my daughter’s cat, but I found a puddle of liquid next to my sneakers this afternoon! Then I picked one up and it was wet…even inside! I wanted to yell and cry. How gross!! If I just had put them back in my room, so I am pouting as I think about washing them tomorrow in the washer.
