I don’t remember where I got this from, sorry. This bread is sooo delicious!!
Recipe
2 tblsp dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
2 cups hot water, 115-125 degrees
3 tblsp sugar
1 tblsp salt
5 tblsp veggie oil
6 cups flour
1 egg, beaten, for glazing bread
1. Disolve yeast in 1/2 warm water
2. In mixer bowl, combine hot water, sugar, salt, oil & 3 cups flour. Mix well.
3. Using paddle, fold in proofed yeast into flour mixture. Mix.
4. Add 3 cups remaining flour, mixing well.
5. Once all flour is mixed in, rest for 10 minutes.
6. Portion dough.
7. On a floured surface, roll dough into a rectangle, roll into a log.
8. Place on parchment paper, brush with egg, let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
